Quick answers to the questions we get most.

Releases

Can I save a draft and finish later? Yes — drafts save automatically. Find it in Releases with Draft status.

No UPC? Check Auto-generate UPC and we'll create one.

Can I edit after submitting? Not directly. Once approved, open a change request. During review, email support.

What audio formats? WAV in the editor. FLAC via the Migration tool only.

How long is review? Typically 1–2 business days. You'll get an email.

Errors on my release? Validation errors show at the top of the page. Click one to jump to the field. All must clear before you can submit.

Artwork size? JPEG, square, 1500 × 1500 minimum — 3000 × 3000 preferred.

Atmos? Yes. Either pick New Spatial Release, or upload spatial files alongside your stereo tracks in the Media step.

Artist profiles

There are two of my artist on Spotify now. The release was delivered without a matching identifier, so the DSP created a second profile. File a remap request immediately — the longer the wrong profile accrues streams, the harder the cleanup.

Content on my page isn't mine. That's a mapping issue, not a claim issue. Contact your Label Manager with the UPC, ISRCs, the wrong artist URL, and the correct one.

Brand-new artist, no profile to map to. Deliver with the artist name in metadata and the DSP creates one. On Spotify you can then claim it before street date.

Can't log in to Spotify for Artists? You're probably on a different Spotify account than the one that has access. Try your other email addresses before requesting a new claim.
